Patricia “Tricia” A. Shipman was born and raised in the Williamsport area. In 1992, she graduated from Mount Holyoke College with majors in biology and politics. After college, she studied and performed research in cellular and structural biology at the University of Texas, Health Sciences Center in San Antonio. She then returned to the Northeast and graduated from New York University School of Law in 1998. Prior to settling in Williamsport, Tricia was a staff attorney at Community Legal Services in Philadelphia. She is a graduate of Leadership Lycoming, Class of 2007.

Tricia is active in the community as a member and past president of the Friends of the James V. Brown Library, member of the Development Advisory Board of James V. Brown Library, and member of the Lycoming County Library System Board. Tricia recently became a member of the Board of Managers of the Williamsport Home. From 2005 to 2013, Tricia served on the Board of Directors of Greater Lycoming Habitat for Humanity.

Patricia A. Shipman is a member of the Lycoming County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania State Courts as well as the Middle District of the Federal Courts.

Jennifer B. Ayers was born in West Chester Pennsylvania. She was raised in the back mountain area of Northeastern PA and played field hockey for Lake-Lehman. She returned to West Chester to attend college and graduated from West Chester University with a degree in Political Science with a concentration in International Relations in 1997. After graduating, she attended Widener University Law School in Harrisburg where she participated in the school's civil law clinic. During her summers, she interned at DEP's Office of General Counsel in Williamsport.

After graduating law school she was employed as an associate with the Law Firm of Perciballi and Williams before accepting a federal clerkship with the Honorable John E. Jones III, whose monumental decisions on “intelligent design” and same-sex marriage gained nationwide attention.

From 2003 until 2012, Jennifer was employed at North Penn Legal Services as a staff attorney. After a brief period of practicing Family Law with Mathers and Stapp, Jennifer joined Susquehanna Law Group in 2013. She is a committee member for the Lycoming Law Association's Family Law committee, the Bench/Bar Committee, and the Legal Services for the Indigent Committee. She is admitted to practice before the Pennsylvania State Courts as well as the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.

From 2010 until 2013, Jennifer served on the Board of Directors for Family Promise of Lycoming County and still remains involved in Family Promise committees. She is the current President and Treasurer of Ellie's Heart Foundation, a nonprofit charity created in her daughter Eleanor's memory. She is an ambassador for the Children's Cardiomyopathy Foundation. She is the mother of two living children.
